Carl Stillitano is an award-winning, self-taught playwright, filmmaker, and founder of Transformative Plays, a platform dedicated to socially relevant art that explores mental health, identity, power and the importance of human connection. He is the writer of all twelve plays housed on TransformativePlays.org and the creator of multiple television series developed directly from those works, reflecting a rare ability to build expansive story worlds rooted in deeply human source material. Carl’s work is known for multi-dimensional characters, rich dialogue, and emotional honesty, grappling with contemporary issues in ways that are both confronting and compassionate. His plays have been widely produced, and his independent films have premiered to critical acclaim, with awards recognition and international distribution.

Raised in Mount Vernon, New York, blocks from the Bronx, Carl’s path to writing was unconventional. With little formal education and English as his second language, he came to storytelling through lived experience, instinct, and relentless self-study. What began as an encounter with the stage became a lifelong commitment to art as a vehicle for transformation.

In addition to his creative work, Carl has spent over three decades mentoring artists and young people, teaching independence, self-actualization, and personal accountability. This ongoing engagement with lived human experience continues to inform the urgency, relevance, and depth of his writing.

Erin Flowers is an artist, creative producer, and lifelong student of transformation. With more than 40 years in the performing and healing arts, her work has been shaped by lived experience, deep practice, and nearly three decades of creative and personal transformation guided by the teachings and work of Carl Stillitano. In this capacity she's worn many hats; teacher, student, actor, director, producer, manager, content developer, writer, creative contributor, choreographer and lyricist.

She stands at the intersection of art, mental health, and cultural leadership—both shaped by this work and actively shaping its future. Erin is committed to advancing human-centered art that is emotionally honest, socially relevant, and alive with purpose.

Her broader vision is the creation of a conscious content platform and global community.  One that integrates arts, wellness, education, and spirituality—offering a sustainable, humane and conscious process to how culture is created, lived and experienced. This site marks the beginning of that creation, and an open invitation to all who feel called to co-create something beautiful, powerful and uniting that serves humanity with heart and integrity.
